Learning to think

Last week, I had the chance to work with a couple of Sixth Form groups. Thank to their Psychology teacher, Jill, I could take part into the course dynamics.

Due to my lack of psychological background, I was a bit scared I could not share anything new for the girls. Luckily, their A-level exam includes a essay-like question that usually lays out some philosophical issues.

Taking as an example a real test from last year, we tried to give a reasonable answer to the question "Is psychology a science?". You can click here to see the presentation I used to introduce the girls into the debate. I hope they enjoyed the session :).
